Using your existing domain with MyRecordSite

You keep ownership of your domain. To connect it to your MyRecordSite website, log in to the company where your domain’s DNS is managed and add the DNS record provided by MyRecordSite. Once the change is verified, your existing domain will open your MyRecordSite association website. Your permanent MyRecordSite address will continue to work.

This is manual-assisted setup, not an automatic activation. Your association's permanent MyRecordSite address keeps working while Support coordinates the optional domain connection. Support must provide the exact DNS record only after production domain setup is ready. If the record is not yet verified, continue using the permanent MyRecordSite address and ask Support for an update.

Steps

  1. Finish setting up your association and keep using its permanent name.myrecordsite.com address.
  2. Contact MyRecordSite Support for manual-assisted setup. Support will provide the exact DNS record once the production domain setup is ready.
  3. You or your domain administrator add that record at the company managing your domain’s DNS. Support confirms the result before the existing domain is used.

Good to know

  • If you need help, send the DNS instructions to your domain administrator or contact MyRecordSite Support. We will never ask for your domain-provider password.
  • Your existing domain is optional. An unverified DNS change does not replace your permanent MyRecordSite address.
