Website Setup
Association Setup and Website Settings control the public identity and information displayed for your community.
Use the public preview to check names, contact information, photo crops, and highlight order before making the site live. A display name can be friendlier than the legal name, but both should identify the right association. Finder visibility controls discovery, while the permanent MyRecordSite address identifies the public site. An optional custom domain is arranged with MyRecordSite Support after provisioning, once production domain setup is ready; the association retains ownership and receives DNS instructions without sharing registrar credentials. Saving a section of Website Settings should not require filling unrelated sections. If a public photo or highlight is missing, check whether the image was saved and whether the site has been published.
Steps
- Choose a theme and enter the association's public display name.
- Upload a logo or property photo and adjust its focal position in the real preview.
- Add up to three Property Highlights and set their numbered order.
- Enter public contact details and a separate emergency contact when appropriate.
- Review Finder visibility and publish the site when setup is complete.
Good to know
- The legal association name and public display name may differ.
- Only public contact details appear on the public website.
- Your confirmed association.myrecordsite.com address is permanent. An optional custom domain can be connected after provisioning; your association keeps ownership of that domain and the MyRecordSite address remains available.
- MyRecordSite Support provides the exact DNS record once production domain setup is ready. You or your domain administrator make the DNS change; never share registrar passwords.
